Praising the work carried out by Panchayats during a Covid-19 pandemic, CM said that he personally saw work done by the monitoring committee in Saharapur and Asha workers, workers of Anganwadi, Panchayat members etc.

He asked Panchayats to ensure that people do not need to travel remotely for ordinary processes such as caste, birth certificates or deaths etc.

He also asked for rural areas to develop a system for solid waste disposal, highlighting the needs of hygiene and sanitation, lighting and public address systems in each village.

During the program, Virtual CM inaugurated 42,478 grams of Panchayat Buildings and 58,189 Village Secretariat.
He also respected five grams of pradhans from 356 which had been recognized for their work.
He said that there will now be a village secretariat in all Panchayats for the implementation of work and the construction of a better secretariat in the remaining Pancrayat will begin immediately.
While announcing the increase in honorarium for Perancrayat representatives, the ministerial chief said that they were also part of the government and their role was to focus on development.
With this, CM said that the honorarium has increased for Pradhans, Head of Blok, President Panchayat District, a member of Zila Panchayat, a member of Kshetra Panchayat and a member of Gram Panchayat.
