Thiruvananthapuram: Hypermarkets covering 2 lakh sqft, 12 multiplex screens, fun zone and food court with 200 and a variety of facilities will be open to the public in Lulu Shopping Mall from Friday.
The Chairperson of the Pinarayai Minister Vijayan will inaugurate a shopping center on Thursday.
The main attraction of the mall is a 2 lakh square foot hypermarket that offers food, fresh fruits, vegetables, various other essence, bakery, organic food and health care products.
It will also include special parts for Indian and Arabic foods.
Products made by kudumbashree mission are also available.
The Chair and Managing Director, Lulu Group Yusuff Ali M A said that some settings have been made to make time to shop relaxed and comfortable.
The mall has the biggest fun zone, namely “Funterura” for children and food court with 2,500 seating capacity.
A pleasant zone displays various types of games and vehicles that have been built on 80,000 square feet.
Zip Line is an inter-travel zone that brings visitors throughout the entire route of the mall as a full-adventurous journey.
More than 200 international famous clothing brands will be available at the mall.
The mall has created employment opportunities for more than 15,000 families.
Among them more than 600 are Thiruvananthapuram natives covering more than 100 locals from Akkulam.
Multi-level parking system has been built in the mall.
Mal parking capacity is 3,500 vehicles at once.
It has in-house and out-door parking facilities.
The parking management team will take care of the parking function, enter and exit.
To meet the customer’s important requirements, the mall has come up with facilities, including extensive indoor paths, ATMs, money exchange, pharmaceuticals, escalators, lifts, special facilities for different wheelchairs such as motorized wheelchairs, parking facilities and different toilets.
