Kolkata: Former Zimbabwe captain and Zimbabwe on Friday was appointed as head coach of Lucknow franchise named, who would make his debut in the Indian Premier League 2022.
Flowers worked with Punjab Kings as assistant coach for the last two seasons.
Kl Rahul, who is the Punjab captain for the last two seasons, is also expected to move to Sanjiv Goenka’s franchise.
“I am very happy to join the new Lucknow franchise and I am very grateful for the opportunity.
Since my first tour to India in 1993, I always liked the tour, playing, and training in India,” Flower said in a statement.
“Passion for cricket in India is unmatched and is the privilege of undergoing IPL franchises and I hope to work with Dr.
