Mumbai: The crime branch investigates the case of extortion registered from the police inspector assistant who was dismissed (API) Sachin Waze and others, on Thursday catching Vinay Singh, who runs two pubs, because of its alleged role in this case.
This is the fourth arrest in this case where the former Chief of Police of Param Bir Singh was also the defendant.
This case was registered at the Goregaon police station and was transferred to Crime Branch.
The investigator learned about Vinay’s presence in a cafe and arrived there.
The 40-year-old child was then taken to the crime branch.
He was accused of accompanying other charges in collecting extortion money.
