New Delhi: A hospital staff was injured after he was dragged along the road with a scooter when he caught a man who grabbed his cellphone in a traffic signal in Delhi, police said on Friday.
Even though the park escaped at the time, the police after checking the CCTV camera footage identified and arrested one of them, a senior officer said.
The defendant has been identified as Vipin (21), a resident of Gurmandi in the Town model, police said.
Vipin drove a pilot and his jacket whose woman took and dragged about 100 meters, before he fell near the car, they said.
The incident occurred at around 5:30 a.m.
on Thursday in the Northwest Delhi area, Shalimar Bagh, when Payal, a 23-year-old front office assistant at Fortis Hospital, returned home, police said.
The observers took him to the hospital where he was treated due to injury to his knees.
He was dismissed on Thursday, they said.
Information about the connection was received by the Shalimar Bagh police station at around 6:40 a.m.

Giving a history of Vipin’s case, the police said he was named in the case under the Curche Act registered at the City Model Police Station and was known as a drug addict.
This year until now, the northwestern district has arrested or captured 470 robbers and 357 robbers.
