Hyderabad: Telangana saw 190 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday while four people who had arrived in the last three days were tested positively from the Omicron variant.
The state also recorded two deaths while active cases in the country reached 3,805.
As many as 40,103 samples were tested.
There are 6,79,064 cases of Covid-19 and 4,012 deaths in Telangana to date.
195 was declared recovered on Thursday, taking a total recovery to 6.71.247, at a rate of 98.8 percent.
Greater Hyderabad recorded 80 cases on Thursday, while neighboring Rangeddy, Medcal-Malkajgiri and Sangareddy each recorded 14, 13 and seven new cases.
Elsewhere, Warangal saw 12 new cases, the highest among other districts.
