Gurgaon: Suncity residents located on Jalan Golf, roads fight cellular towers in the residential building in the area.
Citing ‘radiation’ concern, occupants say that this will have a negative impact on the health of children, elderly and pregnant women living in the colony.
They accused that the cellular tower structure was being installed without taking the necessary permits from the relevant authorities.
“About a week ago we saw the structure of the cellular towers installed on the roof of the residential property in Block G which was truly illegal.
According to the rules, such installations cannot be permitted in the residential area.
Most towers are being installed in the city not following the guidelines Right and the caring authority needs to be thoroughly checking to prevent illegal practices, “said VMK Singh, a colony resident.
The Resident’s Welfare Association (RWA) also filed a complaint to the authorities concerned urged them to stop such installations around it.
