Mangaluru: In the power show, the front of India (PFI) which popularly organized large protests that condemned uppinangady violence in the city on Friday.
People gathered in large numbers near the clock tower, raising slogans to the police, and demanded justice as part of the ‘Sp Office Chalo’ protest.
Vice President of the State PFI Ayoob Agnady said that the police station uppinangady created fake stories to cover the incident of lathicharge.
He asked the police to release a video that showed the protesters who spoiled such an attack or activity.
Protesters urged the district police to free PFI leaders and took action against police personnel who were lahicharge for protesters.
Sp Rishikesh Sonange arrived at the place, accepting the memorandum submitted by them, and said that three pine had been registered, and the investigation was on.
All points raised by protesters will be seen, he said.
Mangaluru City Police have made complicated security arrangements.
The police have given PFI activist permission to protest marching to the SP office.
Previously during the day, the President of the State of SDPI Abdul Majeed Mysuru demanded a judicial probe by the High Court Judge, in the uppinangady incident.
Congress Minority Cell District President Shahul Hameed told the media, that seeing developments in the district, people might lose confidence in the police.
In a shared statement, the residents’ forum for the development of Mangalore, our Women Mangalore, Bahutva Karnataka, hate different speeches, defend Karnataka democracy, all the associations of Indian lawyers for justice and all Indian Association students have demanded that the actions immediately be carried out against the police who were wrong with personnel.
Furthermore, they demanded that the FIR must be registered, and the disciplinary question must begin with the police.
The Karnataka government must take financial responsibility for the treatment of injured protesters through the victim’s compensation scheme.
It is also important to note that there has been communal continuum while playing in Dakshina Kannada, and the role of involvement of the police in this case cannot be ignored, the release is stated.
