(By Bahl Advisitis) Noida: Unit Noida from the Police Task Force up (STF) on Thursday claimed to have arrested the fifth shooter in connection with the alleged attack on the convoy of Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) officials in Bulandshahr.
Three weapons, including two Glock guns made by Austria, have been confiscated from their ownership.
Police said Arvind Poswal (33) was involved in an attack on the Convoy of the Leader of RLD Haji Yunus in Bulandshahr on December 5 which resulted in the death of one person.
“We received a tip-off of the presence of poswal in Bulandshahr on Thursday.
The team put a trap and managed to peel the poswal,” said the supervisor of the police (STF) Raj Kumar Mishra.
During the interrogation, Poswal told the police that he was offered money for the attack.
“The gun confiscated from the shooter was provided to him by his handler, Haris, who left the country and fled to the UAE two days before the attack,” Mishra said.
“We collect more details about the very sophisticated gun ownership.
Seizures have warned the state force.”
