Beijing: China’s oldest person, Alimihan Seyiti, has died at the age of 135 in the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, said the local authorities on Saturday.
Derived from the Township of Shule County Community in Kashgar Prefecture, Seyiti was born on June 25, 1886, according to the District Publicity Department.
In 2013, he topped the list of Chinese eldest living people issued by the Gerontology and Geriatric Association of China, who were previously known as Chinese Gerontology Societies, the state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
He has a very simple and regular everyday life to death on Thursday.
