Hyderabad: In another incident suspected of being drunk, three people died and others were seriously injured after their car crashed into a tree near the Hyderabad University campus, in Saturday Wee Saturday.

Police Gachibowli said the accident occurred a little after 2 am when a 25-year-old private bank recovery agent, Abdul Raheem, who was on the wheels, and three others – M Manasa, 19, N Manasa, 23, and Sai Siddu, 24 – traveled from Kondapur for jumping.
On the way, Raheem lost control and crashed into a tree near the UOH gate.
While Raheem and two women – Junior Artistes with the profession – die on the spot, Sai (also an artist) suffered a severe injury.
He shifted to the hospital for treatment.
The police suspected the three deceased was taken at the time of the accident.
Raheem used a rental car and said to have picked up both women from Ameerpet before heading to Kondapur where Sai was alive.
Then at night, they decided to go drive to drink tea somewhere in LingPally.
Raheem, who allegedly drove a car at high speed, lost control over the vehicle and crashed into a tree.
Then, the vehicle reaches the concrete structure of the roadside temple.
The car broke into two, police said.
“Because of his impact, M.
Moasa, N Manasa and Sai were thrown out of the vehicle, while Raheem was trapped in it,” said a Gachibowli police officer.
Local police got information about accidents at 2.12 in the morning of ‘dial 100’.
“We are waiting for post-mortem reports to ascertain whether Raheem is drunk,” said the officials, added that it was not clear how the four people were related to each other and why they went to Sai’s residence.
