The deceased has been identified as Lakshmi, 22, his son Balasakhi, 4, and Putri VisMitha, 2.
Lakshmi married Saravanan five years ago.
Saravanan is a security guard at Somasundaram’s coconut farm near the banks of the Marutanathi River in Ayyampalayam.
Family lives on the farm.
Ms.
Lakshmi Ramalakshmi told the police who revealed that the 22-year-old child had been disturbed mentally over the past few weeks.
Ramalakshmi lives with a daughter and cares for Lakshmi and two grandchildren over the past two months.
On Saturday morning, Saravanan came out.
When he returned home at night, he found his mother-in-law fell asleep.
His wife and children were lost.
Ramalakshmi did not realize her whereabouts when she slept after lunch.
Saravanan and Ramalakshmi are looking for their wives and children and finally found bodies on the agricultural land late at night.
Police Pattivereanpatti conducted an investigation.
The body was taken with the help of rescue service personnel from Batlagundu.
The body was taken to the Dindigul Medical College hospital, where postmortem was carried out on Sundays.
Allegedly Lakshmi could throw children into the well before taking her life.
The case is registered under Section 174 (unnatural death) from the criminal procedure code.
Since the marriage couple is less than seven years ago, this case was examined by the income division officer, to check whether dowry abuse could incite young women to take extreme steps.
The police said that the Lakshmi family did not suspect a rotten game in death when they realized the mental illness and that he was in medicine.
