Rajkot: Eight fresh Covid-19 cases reported from the Rajkot district on Saturday, where seven came from the city.
District officials said that 47 people were in care at Rajkot City for Covid-19.
Officials added that 561 people came to Rajkot from abroad in the past few weeks where 109 came from high-risk countries.
District officials said that the sample of 109 people was sent for genome sequencing, where 90 had been tested negatively for Omicron.
Report 19 samples are still awaited, said district officials.
