New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with the senior government in parliament on Monday to discuss various problems and further strategies for ongoing winter sessions.
The trade union ministers including Rajnath Singh, Nirmala Sitharaman, Piyush Goyal, Narendra Singh Tomar, Kiren Rijiju and the others were present at the meeting.
The opposition parties have decided not to attend a meeting called by the government to end the deadlock in Rajya Sabha in a parliamentary winter session.
The decision was made after the opposition party meeting this morning.
“We will not attend a meeting called by the government.
We will demand the resignation to Mos Mosah Kumar Misra’s house and the revocation of 12 MPS opposition in Rajya Sabha.
We will not allow both houses of parliamentary function,” Shiv Sena MP Sanjay said Raut said.
The meeting of today’s floor leaders from the two parliamentary houses was held to issue a further strategy about revoking 12 members of the opposition parliament and demand for the resignation of the Minister of State for Ajay Mishra Teni’s house for the problem of Lakhimur KI.
Meanwhile, the central government has also held a meeting of five political parties today that the parliamentary members were suspended from Rajya Sabha to break the deadlock between the government and the opposition at home.
Twelve MPS Rajya Sabha was suspended from home on the first day of parliamentary winter session from 5 political parties including Congress, TMC, Shivsena, CPI, CPI (M).
After suspension, 12 parliamentarians have sat in Dharna every day in front of the statue of Gandhi in Parliament.
Rajya Sabha was postponed several times due to the commotion in the upper house by opposition parties demanding to revoke the suspension of parliamentarians in the ongoing winter parliamentary session.
The parliamentary winter session is scheduled to end on December 23.
