Pune: Rajesh Deshmukh District collector in a recent circle states that the head of the Department of Private Company or the Company will be responsible for vaccination of their staff members.
Deshmukh said if the company failed to vaccinate their employees on December 31, they would be responsible for acting in accordance with the disaster management law.
The collector also asked the rural government to accelerate the delayed vaccination for the first and second dose.
According to Round, around 2.62 lakh people are waiting for the first dose, while around 5.53 lakh are waiting for the second dose in rural areas.
Sudhir Mehta, Chair of the Mahrorma Chamber of Commerce Industries and Agriculture (McCIA), said, “Collectorate District wants to accelerate full vaccination and it is encouraging.
We continue to advise the industry and trading companies to ensure full vaccination of all their employees.
