T’puram: The state government has produced more relaxation in Sabianimala during the underway season after a reduction in Covid-19 spread across the state.
The number of worshipers who can visit the temple has increased to 60,000 per day from 45,000 per day.
The government has also decided that the 500 rooms that you have prepared in Sannidhanam will be opened for worshipers, with only one person permitted in each room.
Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB) has been asked to conduct sanitation in each room according to the Covid-19 protocol.
The worshipers will be allowed to do Neyayabhishekam from 7am to 12 noon, considering there will be no rush during the morning hours.
The traditional route from Pamba, past Neelimala, Appachimedu and Marrakkoottam, will be opened for worshipers, such as today, tractors carrying goods to Sannidhanam take the same route as worshipers.
The administration of Pathanamthitta Regency has been given permission to assess the water level in Pamba and therefore allows worshipers to bathe the sacred and perform the last ritual from the deceased near the banks of the river.
Traditional forest lanes to Sabarimala can be opened for worshipers, and the Ministry of Forestry has been asked to make the necessary arrangements and take necessary precautions.
