New Delhi: India must emerge as a world leader in the post-covid global order, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday, called “to surge forward with a focused approach to set a new target for ourselves for 2047”.
Overcoming the second meeting of the National Committee on ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, Modi said Pandemics had taught new lessons and destroying existing structures that would lead to the emergence of the “New World Organization” in the post-covid era, according to him for a statement.
In general it was stated that the 21st century was Asian property, and it was important to focus on Indian stature in Asia in this century, he said.
Stressing that this is the right time to look at 2047 when the State will celebrate 100 years of independence, he said the current generation will be at the top of the leaders and the nation’s destiny will be in their hands.
“Therefore, it is important to decide what we have to instill in it now so that they will be able to make a major contribution in the future to the country,” he said.
“We always insist on and fight for our rights but there is a higher greatness in following his duties,” he added.
Only when people follow their duties religiously so that they can ensure the rights of others automatically, he said.
Therefore, when Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav is celebrated, the commitment to the task must be the top priority and the promise to contribute significantly to the country must be the main determination, he said, emphasizing the program would sow the seeds in charge of the youth.
Noting that must be remembered that the future is always born in the lap of the past, he said people should not forget their ancestors who have sacrificed their youth, their lives and their families for the country.
There is no stone that must be left to be missed to respect the freedom and unsung heroes of the freedom, he said.
“The Prime Minister concluded that when we observed Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, we had to jump forward with a focused approach to set a new target for ourselves for 2047,” said the statement.
Members of the National Committee who attended the meeting including Speaker Lok Sabha, Governor, Minister of Union, Minister of Chief, Political Leaders, Officials, Media Personality, Spiritual Leaders, Artists, Film Personality, and Leading Personality of the Walkals of Life, said.
Secretary of the Government of Cultural Government Govan gave a presentation on the review of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav activities, held to mark the 75th anniversary of Indian independence.
Members who gave input at the meeting including former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda; Governor of Acharya Devvrat and Arif Mohammad Khan; Yogi Aditentalath’s main minister, Ashok Gehlot and Y s Jagan Mohan Reddy; BJP President J P Nadda, the leader of NCP Sharad Pawar, iconic singer Lata Mangeshkar and actor Rajnikanth among others.
