Chennai: A 17-year-old girl who gave birth to a baby in a government pregnant hospital in Egmore on Monday turned out to be a victim of rape.
According to the police, the girl gangraped by at least four men, all reportedly involved with her mother.
The police all Washermenpet women had registered the case and arrested the girl and her 51-year-old lover.
Search has been launched for two more people related to cruel crimes.
The defendant, was identified as Durirair from Meenambal Nagar near Kodungaiur, was experiencing extra marriage relations with the mother of survivor rape over the past few years.
