Chandigarh: There are no direct plans to impose tonight – as announced by Haryana from 11pm to 5 in the morning on Saturday (Panchkula will follow the rules) – to overcome the threat of omicron variants from Covid-19, according to UT adviser Dharam PAL .
“The Covid case is currently controlled in the city.
There is no urgent need to put limits such as curfew and limit at the meeting.
The administration is very monitoring the situation,” Pal told Toi.
He said the focus of the government was at the second dose of Covid vaccinations and ensuring the corresponding behavior of Covid in public places.
In Panchkula, meetings in public functions are permitted with a maximum of 50% outdoors (300) and indoors (200).
Deputy Commissioner Mahavir Kaushik ordered not to allow anyone to places and public offices (good government and personal) without proof of covid vaccination doses.
Both private and public banks make it mandatory to allow only staff members who are fully vaccinated.
Kaushik said, “People must follow the guidelines incurred for them from time to time, because Covid is still out there and can be a threat to anyone’s life.” Chandigarh in its part has decided to limit people who are not vaccinated into public spaces, hotels, banks and government offices from January 1.
More than 1.85 Lakh beneficiaries are still to take their second dose.
Pal said the decision was taken to ensure the security of adults who were unknown because they should not visit public spaces and stay in their homes as a threat of omicron soaring.
Times display in general, consistent efforts prove more effective than strict limits.
The Covid Authority response is also regulated by the number of cases.
So, more attention to getting a large part of the population to adhere to norms such as effective masking, social blasphemy and vaccination is a better strategy.
Of course, if people don’t take precautions, more stringent steps like evening night and lock may need to be brought in.
