VARANATION: A FIR was submitted against a spokesman for the Indian Trinamool Congress Party, Dutta Riau at the Dashashwamedh police station on Friday to post a doctored video from Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the Microblogging website.
Commissioner Varanasi Police Satish Ganesh said that FIR has been put forward against TMC spokesperson to post video edited audio in his Twitter handle.
FIR was filed against Dutta Riau by So Dashashwamedh, and the Chowk Shivkant Mishra Inspector was given the responsibility of the investigation.
CP said that DCP (crime) also sent a notification to Indian Twitter under the CRPC looking for IP details and suspension of the Twitter account.
PM together with the chairman of the Yogi Adityanath Minister has been out for inspection of the night in the city during his visit to Varanasi on December 13 for the inauguration of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham.

The TMC leader posted a clip where the original audio was replaced.
The audio trajectory with the crowd cheered PM Modi and Yogi AdyityNath edited and replaced by the “Modi Hai Hai” slogan and “Yogi Chor Hain”.
While sharing the edited clip on December 22, Riju Dutta wrote: “Modi Hai Hai, Yogi Slogan Chor Hai was raised by the people above #KashiPrama Modi Ji, but unfortunately Godi Media would not show this reality.
