Vadodara: A man killed his mother-in-law in the Manjalpura area in the city allegedly because he used to support his brother-in-law’s bootleging activities.
The defendant turned himself and told the police about the murder.
The incident occurred in Kalyanbuag society that prominently near the deep Chambers in Manjalpur around 11am.
Vishal Amin used a hammer to kill his mother-in-law, Savita Patel, hit his head repeatedly.
Vishal then went to the Makarpura police station and told the police there about the murder.
It was the police who told Vishal Rinu’s wife Amin that her mother was killed.
When Rinu rushed to his mother’s residence, the body lay in the kitchen and hammer in the sink there.
Rinu stated in his complaint that his brother Rahul Patel was involved in selling liquor.
