Vadodara: Amenities Samras Hostel for the treatment of patients Covid-19 will be available if there is a third wave, officials said.
Treatment infrastructure in the hostel is still intact and the source says that facilities for oxygen, cable and others have not been disturbed.
SSG hospital officials (SSGH) have visited the facility some time ago to check their readiness.
A total of 550 patients were accepted at the Samras hostel.
The hostel functions as an extension of SSGH.
The source said that patients would be accepted at the hostel only after the SSGH did not have any more capacity.
At present, only two government facilities – SSGH and GMers Hospital in Gotri – have free beds for treatment.
