Patna: At the first meeting of the Zonal Railroad Consultation Committee (ZRUCC) East Central Railway held here on Monday, several members of the parliament demanded the cessation of the Rajdhani Express train at the Hajipur and Sarasaram train station, besides the return of passenger trains in several parts.

While MP Ajay Nishad demanded the termination of the Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express in Muzaffarpur, another member of parliament, Chhedi Pastremas, looking for Stop of Rajdhani Express and Seacah-Bikaner-Uiety Duronto Express in Sasaram.
Paswan also demanded stopping the train going to Varanasi at Shivsagar Station.
Nishad and Paswan made their advice at the ZRUCC meeting held at the main hotel here.
Among other participants in the meeting were MPS Rama Devi, Satish Chandra Dubey, Kaushalendra Kumar and Ramnath Thakur.
General manager ECR Anupam Sharma said the suggestions made by the MPS concerned and other participants have been recorded, and they will also be informed about the follow-up actions taken to them.
DGM Nitin Kumar, which is the Secretary of the Railway User Committee, made a presentation on the target of the assigned work and achievements made in the ECR.
Dubey said the toilets and other passenger facilities must be provided at the station and stopped at the Narkataganj-Jainagar and Narkataganj-Bhiknatodhi parts.
In addition, he also demanded the resumption of passenger trains in the Muzaffarpur-Gorakhpur and Narkatiasj-Darbhanga section and doubled the Muzaffapur-Valmyikinagar railway.
Nishad also demanded the extension of the train Patna-Delhi-Patna Middle School Kresti to Muzaffarpur.
He argued to return the passenger train at Muzaffarour-Shahpur Patori, Muzaffarpur-Sonepur and Muzaffarpur-Bapudham Moihari.
Thakur demanded a new railroad line that connects Hajipur, Pondepur and Karpoonigram, in addition to the beauty of the Khudiram Bose Pusa station and a direct train between Samastipur and Delhi.
Rama Devi suggested Shohar’s relationship with the train route, and emphasized the increase in passenger facilities in Bairgania, Dheng, Riga, Kundwa Chainpur and the Ghodasahan train station.
Kaushalendra suggested walking extra trains in the morning in the Islamizers and Patna.
