Google Mobile or GMS services are a series of important applications for all Android users.
This suite contains some of the most important and more applications, all of which are bundled together in one package.
The Android police report that new rules on Android 12 prioritize and have added a series of basic requirements on the “Safety & Emergency” settings page from your mobile that must be fulfilled by the manufacturer.
This rule ensures that each Android user has at least the basic protection rate of earthquakes, and other deaths.
The report added that currently emergency contacts, medical information, location services, emergency sos, earthquakes and emergency warnings are a must for all applications under GMS rules.
Some features are available on Android for years, well provided directly by Google or by device manufacturers.
At present, it is considered mandatory for all regular phones and tablets.
“SOS Emergency” is one of the options on this list that might look strange if you are still on Android 11.
This feature is new to Android 12 and it is included in a pixel device in a personal security application.
This feature is one of the earliest to appear for 2020 preview developers.
The SOS feature allows users to tap the power button five times to contact emergency services after waiting for five seconds.
The report also mentions that many of these – including wireless emergency warnings, site service and earthquake warnings, all included in the Android settings menu through rotary services, but everything may not be available in all regions in the world.
Not only new GMS requirements, but the screen reader for blind users is also a mandatory component now for the latest Android update.
Talkback is probably the most famous among these services that can be included by the pre-installation of an accessibility suite application.
