Ahmedabad: Three people were killed and almost 10 others suffered injuries after their multi-utility vehicle (MUV) crashed into a stationary truck in the Ahmedabad district on Wednesday morning.
The deceased includes two small boys and a woman.
The MUV went from Vapi in South Gujarat against Rajkot in Saurashtra when crashing into a truck, parked on the side of the road, from behind near the city of Bagodara on the state highway, a official from the Bagodara police station.
Two school boys and a woman were killed in the accident, he said.
About 10 other passengers from MUV were injured and rushed to a civil hospital in Ahmedabad for treatment, the official said.
