Noida / Ghaziabad: The state government has started the second sero-surveillance survey in 15 districts, including Ghaziabad and Gautam Budh Nagar, to estimate the breadth of antibodies in the general population.
Previously, had conducted similar surveys in Ghaziabad and four other districts, but the results had not yet arrived.
For the current survey, said the state government, officials said, giving a list of groups and individuals from who the sample was collected in each district.
This survey includes two sets of people – those who sign covid and those who don’t.
In total, 1,500 samples were collected in five different categories, including health workers and parents of previous sero surveillance in districts by the Indian Medical Research Council (ICMR) had revealed that 66.7% of participants had antibodies, he added.

RK Gupta, “This survey will also investigate how long after recovering from Covid infection and getting a vaccine, antibodies can attend people.
In Ghaziabad, the government identified 125 people for surveys, and 104 samples would be part of the survey .
“This survey will also investigate the effect of infection in public health.
“This study will see the possibility of re-infection and problems related to permanent health or temporarily after a virus infection,” added Dr.
Gupta.
13 other districts include Lucknow, Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Moradabad, Meerut, Prayagraj, Barra, Banda, Agra, Kanpur Nagar, Maharajanj, Deoria and Azamgarh.
