New Delhi: City recorded 1,313 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday, with a 1.73% testing level of test, both of which since May 26 when 1,491 cases were reported with a 1.93% test level of testing.
New cases recorded in the last 24 hours are from 75,953 tests, including 68,590 RT-PCR, CBNAat, Truenat tests and 7,363 quick antigen tests.
Coronavirus Tally’s infection novel in the city has now reached 14,46,415.
From this, almost 14.2 lakh patients recovered from this disease, the Bulletin Health Department said.
With the number of patients recovering from disease is 423, the number of active cases crosses 3,000-marks.
Meanwhile, 2,191 on Wednesday, reached 3,081 on Thursday.
Of the total number of Covid-19 patients, 189 treated in various city hospitals and 1,560 were recovering in house isolation.
Of the total 8,835 hospital beds provided for Covid-19 patients, 8,646 were empty on Thursday, according to the Department of Health Bulletin.
Of the 2,770 Covid ICU beds, 2,727 were empty, including 1,358 ICU beds with ventilators from a total of 1,379, according to the Delhi Online Corona Dashboard.
While the number of detention zones around 500 on Wednesday, rose to 645 on Thursday.
Health Minister Satyendar Jain on Thursday said in a press direction that the Delhi government was ready to use all available resources to combat Covid-19.
He urged everyone to wear a mask and keep social distance to protect themselves from viruses in public places.
Delhi has witnessed a sharp increase in the number of fresh Covid-19 cases with the last six days also recorded a surge in the highest single day surge in six months.
While 923 cases were reported on Wednesday, there were 496 cases on Tuesday, 331 on Monday, 290 on Sunday, 249 on Saturday and 180 on Friday.
Each was the highest single-day surge in the last six months at that time.
