Bhubaneswar: The State Government on Thursday asked the district collector to take traffic control measures after the commemoration of the IMD about the solid fog on Friday morning in 17 districts and in 28 districts from Friday night to Saturday morning.
“Police and transportation officials may need steps for controlled vehicles on the highway during solid fog to avoid accidents on the road,” said an advisor who was issued for all police collectors and supervisors (SPS) from the Office of the Special Assistance Commissioner (SRC) .
Countries that tend to watch solid fog on New Year’s Day include Ballasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Khurda, Puri, Balalasore and Sonepur.
