Vatican City: In the desire of his new year to the world, Pope Francis encourages Saturday people to focus on goodness, which unites them and criticize violence against women while acknowledging that Pandemic Coronavirus has left many economic inequality.
“We are still alive in uncertain and difficult time because of a pandemic,” Francis said.
“Many are frightened about the future and burdened by social problems, personal problems, dangers that come from the ecological crisis, injustice and with global economic imbalances.” Thousands of residents of Rome and tourists, wearing facial masks as protection against the spread of Coronavirus, gathered in St Peter’s square on a bright and soft day to hear Francis issue recipes for world peace, supporting his appearance.
Peace, said Pope, “demanded concrete actions”.
“It was built attentively at the least, by promoting justice, with the courage to forgive, so that it extinguishes hatred.” Francis also fought for a positive attitude, “who always sees, in the church and in the community, not a crime that divides us, but the kindness that unites us”.
