Regional passport officers, Hyderabad, Dasari Balaiah said promoting safe migration and law in regional languages was the initiative from the Ministry of External Affairs to ensure the protection and welfare of the EMIGRAN abroad for work.
“Emigrant protectors, and RPO, Hyderabad, work together to promote safe and legal migration,” RPO said.
Various welfare schemes such as Pravation Bharatiya Bima Yojana (PBBY), pre-departure orientation training, Indian Community Welfare Fund (ICWF) and the Emigrate Platform together form a framework made by the Protection & Welfare Center of the emigrants, officials said.
The emigrate platform has now opened up to all countries in recognition of new migration corridors to East Asia, Europe and other regions, added Balaiiah.
