Bhubaneswar: Daily Covid Cases have increased steadily in the state for the past week.
Of the 112 cases on December 26, the number has risen to 298 on Saturday, forcing the government authority to suggest strict compliance with Covid behavior.
When infection increases every day, the overall active case has risen around 200, from 1594 on 26 to 1814 on Saturday.
Positive level of test test (TPR), the percentage measure of the sample that returns positive, also on the way.
From TPR 0.37% on Friday, up to 0.47% on Saturday.
Most of the new cases were reported from Khurda Regency.
A total of 119 of the 298 cases reported on Saturday and 105 of 228 on Friday came from Khurda.
The Naveen Patternik Minister on Saturday appealed to people to remain vigilant to examine the spread of omicron.
“We must be vigilant to fight the new Covid variant Omicron.
I begged everyone to obey Covid norms,” Naveen said in a video message on New Year’s Day.
He tasted that there was a burst in the case, director, health service, Bijay Kumar Mohapara said people must really wear masks, physically observing and avoiding the crowd.
“People who show alleged symptoms such as cough and cold must undergo a covid test,” Mohapatra said.
