Lucknow: With the arrest of two people, Police Amethi on Sunday claimed to have solved the murder case of Sushila Tripathi (62) and his son Raju (27), whose body recovered in their homes in the Gauriganj area in December 23.
The person who was arrested was identified as Raman and Vinod.
The investigation revealed that Raman was a friend of Raju.
Raju has slapped Raman’s wife during a hot exchange for trivial problems and to reply to his wife’s insults, Raman killed Raju.
His mother was also eliminated when he came to the saving of his son during a fight.
Police supervisor, Amethi, Dinesh Singh, said that Raman had planned the murder, along with his friend Vinod, because Raju had struggled his wife suspecting that he and Raman had leaked details about the family.
The police said that Raju had a relationship with a girl who was also relatively far away.
Raju often lives in Raman’s house and discusses his affair.
“On December 20, Raju’s family member learned about his affair and warned him to improve his way or lose his part on the family property,” police said.
Raju thought it was Raman who could tell his family about infidelity.
He visited Raman’s House, which wasn’t there.
Raju argued with Raman’s wife and struggled, the police said.
When Raman learned from his wife the treatment he got from his friend Raju, he decided to eliminate him.
“On December 23, Raman and Vinod reached Raju’s house and after the exchange of long words heated up.
When his mother came to save his son, Raman also killed him,” said Ajeet Vidyarthi, Sho, Kotwali.
