Jaipur: A police team who has arrested a fugitive who was sought in Kangla Ka Bas Village under the Area of Police Station Sikari in Bharatpur was surprised when the villagers attacked the team.
Three police officers were injured in an attack while others had to really run to save their lives.
Police have registered cases of prevention in public work and plans to attack the village again.
According to the police, the incident took place on Sunday morning when a police team Sikari went to arrest the criminal sought.
“He was detained and while our team returned the villagers, especially family members, attacked our team with sticks and iron sticks.
In clashes, criminals were taken prisoners managed to escape.
Our three police officers were injured in Serang,” Devendra Bishnoi, police supervisor, Bharatpur, told toi.
He added that the police have registered cases of prevention causes in public work and attacks under the right part of the IPC against at least 12 people.
“The Fugitive Identified Azmat was desirable in several cases at the Sikari Police Station and in the run for a long time.
On Saturday night, the police received special input in front of him in the village, thus, a team went to arrest him,” said a senior police station Sikari.
