Vadodara: Even as the city of Vadodara and the district did not register the fresh case of omicron variants on Sunday, it continued to witness a stable increase in Covid-19 positive patients with 69 newly registered cases of 5,524 samples tested in 24 hours ended on Sunday night.
With this, the total number of Covid-19 cases in Vadodara since the beginning of the pandemic had touched 72,870.
Fresh cases have been reported from Jetalpur, Navapura, Bhayli, Siyabug, Diwalipura, Swad, Gotri, Chhani, Subhanpura, Tandalja, Sama, Akota, Harni, Sudamapuri, Fatehpura, Gokulnagar, Manjalpur and City Sevasi Region.
With the deaths reported by Covid-19, the death toll officially established at 623.
At the same time, 10 patients were repatriated on Sunday taking the total number of patients recovering to 71,952.
The city and district count for 295 active cases, which conditions 286 patients are said to be stable.
While seven patients were being treated with oxygen support, the other two were under the ventilator or BI-PAP support.
As many as 422 people, on the other hand, are under quarantine.
