Thiruvananthapuram: Kottiyam police here on Sunday arrested three people on charges of murder experiments.
The police identified the defendant as Ajith Kumar, 40, from Puthuchira, Sumesh, 32, from Umayanalloor and Shibu, 50, from Umayanalloor.
Shajahan, 43, from Puthuchira is a complainant in this case.
The police said that the incident was related to crime occurred on December 31, around 19:30 a.m.
in Puthuchira.
Shajahan witnessed the three men attacking other men named SUMESH, with whom they had a personal grudge.
Shajahan disturbed saving seas from the attack.
But, this makes the three attackers distract them towards Shajahan.
They kicked him and hacked him using machetes, causing serious injury to his head and forehead.
They proceeded entering the rental room of Shajahan and harmed the equipment and windows.
Shajahan continues under care.
The defendant was arrested by a team led by Kottiiyam Station House Officer Inspector Jimstal.
They are produced before the court and are returned in judicial detention.
