Guwahati: The Assam government has established nearly 20 covid vaccination centers in every state district to stab them in 15 to 18 years of age group when the country faces the task of Herculean to discuss around three children every day to meet the target of announcing all adolescents who qualify on January 9 .
The resources of the Ministry of Health said there were around 20 lakh populations in the state that needed to be vaccinated in just seven days from Monday.
This, said a senior health department official, will be a climbing task because some thousands of adult beneficiaries must also be vaccinated with both important jabs simultaneously.
At present, around 1.5 doses of lakh are given every day in the state.
“Those aged 15 to 18 years, who will get Jab on January 9, will be vaccinated with the second dose in February.
The Board Exam will be held in March,” said Minister of Health Keshab Mahanta.
The vaccination team of the district health department unit will visit schools from Monday to vaccinate school children.
“Sub-district administration respectively, district education officials and educational institution authorities will assist them,” said a statement from the Ministry of Health’s office on Sunday.
Deputy Deputy Commissioner has been entrusted with the task of overseeing the drive of vaccination, he added.
Minister of Himanta Minister Buswa Sarma will inaugurate the vaccination drive of children at Olin India Secondary School, Duliajan in Dibrugarh Assam Regulation, while Minister of Health Mangana will launch drive vaccination from Gopal Boro Gopal Middle School in Guwahati.

However, there are other problems in the state where many schools managed by the government do not issue identity cards to students.
The resources of the Ministry of Health said the school authorities had been authorized to provide a four-digit unique identity number to each of the original students in these schools.
“Smaller districts will have 10 to 15 covid vaccination centers for children and in larger districts, equal to 15 to 20.
But to achieve timely tasks, district authorities have been empowered to increase the center number,” State Nodal Officer Of Covid-19 Vaccination, Munindra Nath Nattey, told TII.
He said the guardian of children could also register their names on the Cowin Portal in advance for bother-free vaccination.
