Pakur: At least 16 people were killed while 26 others suffered injuries after a collision between buses and truck gas cylinders transported in Jharkhand District, Wednesday.
The accident occurred around 8:30 at the Govindpur-Sahibganjan state highway in the village of Paderkola in Amrapara Regional Police Station.
The bus with 40 passengers headed to Jasidih in Deoghar district of Barharwa in the Sahibganj district, officials said.
“The death toll in the accident has increased to 16, while the injured amount is 26.
At least three of them are important,” RD Paswan’s civilian surgeon to PTI in the afternoon.
One critical patient has called the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Ranchi and the process of shifting other active, the police sub-division (SDPO) Ajit Kumar Vimal.
