Navi Mumbai: Acting on complaints by spa owners at the mall in Nerul, alleged that the three people claimed that they were a journalist who had extorted Rs 24,000 from him from September to December last year after threatening to complaint the police police to the female staff at his spa was asking for Customers with sexual assistance, Nerul police have registered firs against three accused people.
Complaints have been submitted by Ashish Kale (27), the owner of the Avenue Spa and Salon located in Haware Centurion Mall in Sector 19A, Nerul.
The defendant was identified as Vijay Sangharsh Masik, Datta Mane and Siraj Choudhary claimed to be a journalist with Maharashtra crime.
They have been ordered under the IPC part 384 for penalty for extortion and part 34 for general intentions.
In accordance with FIR, Ashish Kale’s complainant has stated that the three defendants have come to his spa in August last year and identified themselves as journalists.
They threatened him that they would file a complaint of the police by claiming that his female staff deliberately wore a semi-dress clothing to attract customers and offered sexual assistance during body massage.
They demanded Rs 8000 monthly payments not to file police complaints.
Kale told them that there were no illegal activities that occurred at the spa and refused to pay them.
Therefore, they threatened him that they would make sure he would not be able to do business at his spa.
After five days, they called Kale’s cellphone and demanded a monthly extortion, but Kale ignored them.
After that, Nerul police often came to the spa to ask illegal activities because they received complaints by telephone.
When Kale began to lose customers because the police who often asked, he decided to compromise with three journalists and agreed to pay them every month.
The three of them were accused of extorting Rs 8000 monthly from September to December last year, which Kale was paid to them by Google Pay.
Then, on December 15, they demanded to increase monthly extortion to Rs 9000, where Kale was rejected.
But they again threatened to carry out police attacks at his spa.
Therefore, it was fed up with all three accused, Kale registered firmly against them at the Nerul police station on January 3.
Sanjay Chavan, Police Inspector Nerul said, “The case of extortion was recorded the preliminary probe and then captured three accused named in FIR by the owner of the spa complainant.”
