Hubballi: The state government has established an expert committee to implement national education policies at the school level in the district.
The committee was led by Deputy Commissioner of Nitesh Patil and experts in the field of education.
The committee will discuss fundamental literacy and numnendan, which is the first theme introduced at school under NEP.
Experts will also prepare an implementation plan, identify wise goals, and monitor the progress of the mission.
The Ministry of Education has launched a national initiative for the skills in reading with understanding and numeration (Nipun) Bharat, which is a national mission introduced by the Ministry of Education.
The program focuses on children between 3 and 9, including pre-schools for class 3.
It aims to achieve it in 2026, by applying it in all government, assisted and private schools.
