Mangaluru: Second Semester Candidate, which emerged for special examinations in December and candidates for PGCET, had to wait until the end of January to get their results, said PL Dharma, Registrar (Evaluation), Mangalore University (MU).
He clarified the anomalies in the results of undergraduate and postgraduate examination (UG, PG), along with the representative of Chancellor PS Yadapadithaya and Kishore Kumar CK Registrar, here on Thursday.
PGCET counseling starts from Tuesday.
However, students under MU, which appears for the second semester exam Special BCAC held between 7-23 December is in wheat, because the results have not come out, and they cannot attend.
Dharma said that nearly 30,000 students had emerged for inspection, and the majority of candidates came from the flow of trade.
“We want to start the evaluation this weekend, but it is impossible for the curfew.
It will start from Monday.
The whole process will be completed at the end of January,” he said.
When asked whether the PG-CET candidate would lose because of the unprecedented MU delay, Dharma said that MU had written to the Karnataka High Education Board to free students and accommodate them, because the results have not come out.
“We expect a positive reply from the department.
Meanwhile, MU has also made a plan to accommodate students who want to pursue PG courses under the university, but cannot apply because of the results,” he said.
In delays in declaring the results of the examination and other anomalies, P L Dharma agreed that because the adoption of the software opened inhouse Mulinx, everything was wrong.
“About 38 colleges have emerged, quoting anomalies in UG results, and we have discussed everything.
The help desk is made in MU, and anyone who has a problem with the results can contact their headmaster.
This will be aimed at priority,” he assured The use of Mulinx will continue for another semester, and will be stopped in the phase, said Dharma, adding that training for UUCMS has begun in Bengaluru.
The PG results in one month of postgraduate results have also been postponed.
Dharma said that the results would be stated in a month.
He said that It was delayed due to lack of hand, and unavailability of an external evaluator.
PS Yadapadithaya said that MU contemplated to go for a digital rating for the PG course from the front semester, and that the e-tender was being processed for the same thing.
