More land coverage tends to be permitted in the plot to curb violations

Gurgaon: In large assistance for plot owners and home developers, the city and state meeting department (DTCP) is likely to increase land coverage for plots that measure up to 250 square meters (300 square meters) from 66 to 75%.
Similarly, a larger plot that measures up to 1,000 square meters can be permitted to have ground coverage of 66% of the previous 60%.
With increased land coverage, the plot owner will be able to build an elevator, stairs, and cutouts without reducing the floor area ratio (far), which in turn, believing officials will help reduce illegal violations and construction in the area plotted.
Far is the ratio of dirty floor areas of building with land size built.
DTCP, officials said, had issued public notifications about bringing amendments to the building code Haryana 2017 and invited suggestions or objections from all stakeholders within 30 days.

Because of the stairs and elevators, which is a public area but included in FAR, builders Getting fewer space to build a flat.
“264 Far, Singla said, 24 will be used on the stairs and lifts and builders just build a flat.
“We have had several meetings with the Director of the City and State Planning Department in the past and we also wrote to the minister’s chairman, and finally the request has been received.
This will bring aid that is very much needed for all stakeholders,” he added.
