PUDUCHERRY: The Puducherry Government has decided to strengthen the border supervision with a team consisting of health and police officials to ensure people’s entry into Puduchers with at least one dose of Covid-19 vaccine and to identify people with symptoms and isolate them for medical care and isolate them .
The decision was taken considering the surge in the case of Covid-19 in Puducherry, said Collector District E Vallavan.
Administration has also decided to form a team of inspection with Taluk and Firka with income, Labor Party, Health, Police, City and Commune Panchayat to maintain strict vigils over hotels, malls, market places, theaters, and wedding meetings to ensure covid -19 appropriate behavior.
“Joint inspection team, in addition to sealing a place for repetitive violations, will issue Challans because it does not wear a mask and does not maintain social distance.
The police, income, labor and the local administration department must have their department team for inspection and issue Challan for violations,” Vallavan said .
All commercial companies must ensure that thermal cleaners and scanners are placed in places in addition to ensuring ‘signs’ for social distance.
The hotel / lodge must accommodate only people who are vaccinated.
Administration advised people to follow the appropriate Covid-19 behavior and avoid visiting crowded places.
