Fatehpur: Three people were killed and others were seriously injured after a quick truck hit them in the Kpaga Kotwali area here, police said on Saturday.
The victims, jeep passengers, were repairing their vehicle after developing obstacles near Mahicha police post bathed on Jalan Raya Kanpur-Allahabad on Friday night when the accident took place, said officers, khaga, Gayadutt Mishra.
Dharmendra aka Bhura (25), Babbu (27) and the door (24) died in place.
Others were seriously injured and he had been hospitalized at Kanpur, he said.
The body has been sent for post-mortem, said Mishra.
He said a hunt was launched to catch a truck driver who fled the scene after the incident.
