Mysuru: In the midst of pressure from the Lingayats Pancayat Sect, to include it in the class of the backward 2a class, Halumatha Mahasabha opposed it, by saying that the top caste should not be extended facilities.
Speaking to the media on Friday, Head of the State Unit Halumatabha Mahasabha and other backward president President Rudranna Gulagguli said that the committee would oppose the inclusion of Pancamasalis forward under the 2A category, because the government’s steps would ring the death bell for other 102 more backup classes included in the category 2a.
“Various commissions that investigate and studied the backwardness of education and social from various communities in the state, have not yet mentioned that Picamasalis is underdeveloped.
The government must withdraw its decision to conduct a new pancammsal survey, to fulfill their demand for inclusions under the classroom category 2A,” he said.
“Because more than 15 MLA belonging to the Pancashasali Community was chosen for the State Assembly, from the four ministers, the government should not take it backwards, and put it under the class of classrooms 2A, because it is unfair for all other backs classes.
This step will seize the recipient’s reservation Original and job opportunities, “he said.
He said that agitation throughout the state would be launched against the government, if it was attached to the default including ricamasalis under the class of classrooms 2A.
