Vadodara: When Indian sportsmen participated in the 2024 Olympics in France, one of the contingent members might come from Vadodara.
Table Tennis Champion Manush Shah has been picked up by the Ministry of Sports for the Target Olympic Podium Scheme (Peak) to prepare it for the 2024 Olympics.
This is the second time he was chosen for the peak.
“I’m happy to be chosen for another superiors.
I focus on preparation for the Olympics,” Shah said 21 years.
The central government has started the peak in 2014 to support Indian sportsmen for the Olympics.
Shah has received technical guidance and monthly allowances from the government.
Shah made pieces thanks to her consistent performance over the past year.
He won a men’s degree in table tennis in South America last year along with a silver medal in the men’s category in Pondicherry in December 2021.
Shah also won a silver medal in the open category in Indore last year.
Since under 15 days, Shah has made its presence feel in various tournaments.
Paddler, who is currently ranked 12th among the country’s senior men, has won several medals at the state and national level.
At one point in his career, Shah is ranked No.
1 in the country and 6th in the world in the Under 1 category.
Shoulder injury seized the opportunity to participate in the World Championship in 2018, but the sandy paddler bounced back in style.
He began playing table tennis at the age of 10 at Deesha Dynamic Academy in the city.
“We are pleased that the performance of my consistent son has made him elected at the top,” said Utpal Shah.
