WASHINGTON: The United States said on Friday it had agreed to voluntary departure to employees of the non-emergency US government and family members from the Consulate General in Kazakh Almaty City, in the midst of a sustainable emergency in the country.
“US citizens in Kazakhstan must be aware that violent protests can affect the ability of embassies to provide consular services, including assistance to US citizens who depart Kazakhstan,” said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
