Panel request to want the second police complaint to investigate all dept

Nagpur: The demand committee suffered by investigating a fake scam contract has directed the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) government to file a second complaint with the conscious police station to investigate all departments.
The committee also decided to appoint an account of the Pension Head and Financial Officer (Cafo) and retired judge as a member of the Committee, and also the Deputy Commissioner of Nirbhay Jain to help the panel.
The demand committee led by the party leader in power Avinash Thakre includes the opposition leader of Tansaji Wanve (Congress), Corporators Sandip Jadhav, Sanjay Balpande (both of BJP) and Vaishali Narnawre (BSP).
The panel held his first meeting on Monday.
Toi was the first to report fraud on December 14, 2021.
On December 31, the general body discussed fraud and issued a resolution to conduct investigations through the committee.
Toi has been reported on January 10, NMC has not initiated actions against several staff found involved in fraud, although a similar fake contract scheduled in three more departments – the registration department of waste and dense death.
On December 13, the Chief Medical Officer NMC Dr.
Sanjay Chilkar has filed a complaint with the conscious police station that accused five companies preparing 41 fake contracts worth RS61 Lakh.
Then, there is no additional input given to the police.
Therefore, the Committee led by Thakre directed the NMC administration to submit a second complaint who told the police about more false contracts in three more departments, and also asked for an investigation into all departments.
Surprisingly, the police department did not do anything new or more in this case in the last 35 days.
The police consciously arrested two of the four main charges and three NMC staff, which had been suspended by NMC.
Then, CP Amitesh Kumar handed over the case to the wing of the economic violation (EOW), which is still investigating this case and has not taken any action until now.
