With 1,058 new cases, Kannada’s daksihina’s front level is touched 10.7%.
This district has 4,964 active cases.

Private schools in Bajpe recorded eight cases of 81 samples tested.
As many as seven cases were reported from government schools in Bengre, where 45 samples were tested.
The two hostels were also declared clusters.
The health department official said that 20 cases were reported from the private Ayurveda hostel in Mangaluru, and eight cases were reported at the Women’s Hostel in Bantwal Taluk.
As many as 13 inmates from the old house in Bondel were tested positively.
