Dehradun: Party Bharatiya Janata (BJP) on Thursday released the first list of 59 candidates for the election of the Uttarakhand Assembly, scheduled to be held in a single phase on February 14.
The head of the Minister of Pushkar Singh Dhami has been placed from Khatima, the chair he currently represents.
Likewise, the Head of the BJP of the Madan Country Kaushik will contest from Haridwar’s assembly chair, from where he is currently MLA.
Of the 59 names announced, five were female candidates, said Prahlad Joshi, the BJP election was responsible for Uttarakhand, while overcoming a press conference, the most surprising name in the list was Kunwarani Devyani Singh, wife of Mla Kunwar Pranav four times Singh ‘Champion’.
