PANAJI: On the fourth day of the submission of nominations for assembly selection of February 14, the Indian Commission (ECI) received a nomination from 15 candidates on Monday, taking the number of nominations to 18.
On the first day, two BJP candidates, Minister of Power Nilesh Cabral and former Minister of Art and Govind Gaude culture submitted their nomination to oppose polls from Curchorem and Priol.
Independent candidate Digvijit Chavan submitted a nomination from Navelim.
On Monday, the Naresh Sawal MGP candidate submitted a nomination for Bicholim, the BJP Nilkant Halarnkar candidate for Tivim, the BJP Rohan Khaunte candidate for Porvorim, Pooja Mayekar as independent for Aldona, MGP candidates for ‘DEAM’ Dhavalikar for Ponda, MGP and Candidates BJP Subhash Shirodkar for Shiroda.
MGP Prospective Ramkrishna ‘Sudin’ Dhavalikar submitted a nomination for the constituency of Madkai, Sankalp Amonkar congress candidate for Mormugao, BJP candidate and Transport Minister Mauvin Godinho for Dabolim, Vishal haze rises as independent for Cortalim, Ajay Raju Boyer as independent for Curchorem, and Previous Deputy Speaker Isidore Fernandes as independent for Canacona the last date of nomination submission is January 28.
Nomination observations will be carried out on January 29 and the last date of the candidate withdrawal is January 31.
